Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and WorkInvoice. By creating an account or using the service you accept them, so please read them.

Last updated 7 September 2026

1. Who these terms are with

The service is provided by Sakthiish s/o Vijayadass, based in Singapore, trading as WorkInvoice(“we”, “us”). “You” means the person or business using the service.

2. What the service does — and does not do

WorkInvoice helps you create, store and send invoices, and generate a PayNow QR code that your client can scan to pay you.

We are not a payment processor and we never hold your money. Payments go directly from your client to your own bank account. We do not process, escrow, guarantee, refund or reverse any payment between you and your client, and we have no involvement in a dispute between you and your client.

We are not your accountant or tax adviser. The service helps you produce invoices containing the fields the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore expects on a tax invoice, but you are responsible for the accuracy of what you put on an invoice, for your GST registration and returns, and for your own tax position. Nothing in the service is accounting, tax or legal advice.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. Sign-in is by a one-time link sent to your email, so keep control of that email account — anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us promptly at hello@workinvoice.app if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

You are responsible for everything done through your account and for the accuracy of the business details you enter, which appear on the invoices you issue.

4. Plans, pricing and payment

  • Free plan. Up to 3 invoices and 3 clients in total. No card required, no time limit.
  • Monthly plan. SGD 5 per month.
  • Annual plan. SGD 50 per year.

Prices are in Singapore dollars. We are not currently GST-registered, so no GST is charged; if that changes we will tell you before it takes effect.

How paid plans are activated. Payment is made by PayNow transfer, and your account is upgraded manually once we have confirmed the transfer. This normally happens within one business day. Because activation is manual, a paid plan does not start automatically the moment you press a button.

Renewals. There is no stored card and no automatic charge. When a paid period ends we will email you; if you do not renew, your account reverts to the free plan. Your invoices and data remain accessible and exportable.

Price changes.We may change prices, but never for a period you have already paid for, and we will give at least 30 days' notice by email.

Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • issue false, fraudulent or misleading invoices, or invoice for goods or services you have not supplied and do not intend to supply;
  • impersonate another business, or use a name, UEN or bank account you are not entitled to use;
  • break any law, including tax, anti-money-laundering or sanctions law;
  • upload material that infringes someone else's intellectual property, or that is unlawful or abusive;
  • attempt to gain access to another user's data, probe or disrupt the service, or use automated means to scrape it at scale.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches this section. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.

6. Your data stays yours

You keep all rights in the invoices, client records, logo and other content you put into the service. You grant us only the permission we need to host, process and display that content in order to run the service for you. We do not use your content to advertise, and we will not publish it.

You can export your invoices as PDFs at any time. If you close your account, export what you need first — see the Privacy Policy for how long we keep data afterwards.

7. Our intellectual property

The service itself — the software, design and the WorkInvoice name and logo — belongs to us. You may not copy, resell or create a competing service from it. Any other company or product names on this site are the trade marks of their respective owners, used only to identify those products; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not offer a service-level guarantee. We may carry out maintenance, and may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service altogether we will give at least 60 days' notice, allow you to export your data, and refund the unused portion of any paid period.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 are not affected.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows: the service is provided “as is”; we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or for an invoice going unpaid or being paid late; and our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period, or SGD 50.

You agree to indemnify us against claims brought by your clients or third parties arising out of the invoices you issue or your breach of these terms.

10. Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time, by emailing hello@workinvoice.app. There is no lock-in and no cancellation fee.

We may close your account on 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously breach section 5. If we close your account other than for a breach by you, we will refund the unused portion of anything you have paid.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that materially affect your rights we will email account holders at least 14 days beforehand. If you do not accept a change, you may close your account and we will refund the unused portion of your current paid period.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. This agreement, together with the Privacy, Cookie and Refund policies, is the entire agreement between us.
